We’ve made getting to Ribfest easier than ever with two convenient shuttle options for residents and visitors.
🚌 ROUTE #1 – DIRECT SHUTTLE
(Preferred easier option)
📍 Park for FREE at Watson Farms in Bowmanville.
Location: 2287 DURHAM REGIONAL HWY 2, BOWMANVILLE
➡️ Hop aboard our FREE Direct Shuttle Bus
➡️ Travel directly to Ribfest at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex

🚌 ROUTE #2 – COMMUNITY SHUTTLE ROUTE
Our Large Shuttle Bus will make stops throughout Bowmanville before arriving at Ribfest.
Stops include:
📍 Clarington Blvd (Cineplex Cinema)
📍 Green Rd / Aspen Springs
📍 West Side Park
📍 Waverley Strip Mall
📍 King St W & Division St
📍 Bowmanville Mall
📍 Mearns Ave

⏰ IMPORTANT TIMES
🕘 Last pickups from community stops will take place between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
🚪 Entry closes for entry to Ribfest at 10:00 p.m.
⏰🚌 Last shuttle buses leave the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex at 11:30 p.m. Friday & Saturday and 7:30 pm on Sunday.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE
🐾 NO PETS are permitted on the shuttle bus or at the event.
(Service animals are permitted.)
🚫 No alcohol permitted on the shuttle bus or outside alcohol allowed at the event.
♿ This is a school bus shuttle service and is not accessible. Riders must be able to safely step on and off the bus independently.
👶🏻Children are welcome but must follow the same safety guidelines as city buses with proper supervision. Strollers are permitted provided they collapse.
🅿️ Accessible parking will be available onsite for those who require assistance and have a valid permit.

The Rotary Club of Bowmanville commitment to supporting local, community-driven organizations continues during Ribfest, including their ongoing support of organizations like Seeds of Hope and Feed the Need in Durham ❤️
One exciting initiative is the Seeds of Hope – Knock Down Hunger Challenge, taking place on July 1st at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex.
Their goal? To set a new Guinness World Record by collecting and toppling 15,000+ boxes of macaroni and cheese with hopes of reaching an incredible 20,000 boxes! 🧀
As Seeds of Hope explains:
“This year, we’re playing dominoes with boxed macaroni & cheese at our KDH Challenge. The Guinness World Record is 13,000, but we’re aiming to beat that record by a lot. We think we can collect 20,000 boxes. All the boxed mac & cheese we collect will be donated to Feed the Need in Durham afterwards.”
Every box collected will help support local families facing food insecurity throughout Durham Region.
